Rousseau (provincial electoral district) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Rousseau (electoral district)
Rousseau is a provincial electoral district in the Lanaudière and Laurentides regions of Quebec, Canada, that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It includes Saint-Lin–Laurentides and various other municipalities. It was created for the 1981 election from parts of the Prévost, Joliette-Montcalm and L'Assomption electoral districts. In the change from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map, it gained Chertsey and Saint-Hippolyte from Bertrand, but lost L'Épiphanie (city), L'Épiphanie (parish), and the part of the city of L'Assomption that it formerly had to the L'Assomption electoral district. It was named after French philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau. ==Members of the National Assembly== #René Blouin, Parti Québécois (1981–1985) #Robert Thérien, Liberal (1985–1994) #Lévis Brien, Parti Québécois (1994–1998) #François Legault, Parti Québécois (1998–2009) #Nicolas Marceau, Parti Québécois (2009–present)
